Follow these four stages. Keep it simple. The first month decides how the tattoo will look in 10 years.

Healing timeline

Day 1–3
Keep it covered
Wear the protective film for 24h. After removal, gentle wash with antibacterial foam, pat dry.
Day 4–7
Moisturize
Apply a thin layer of healing balm 2–3× per day. The tattoo will start to peel. Let it.
Day 8–14
Let it heal
Switch to a mild lotion. Avoid sun, pools and saunas until fully healed.
30 days +
Long-term care
Always use SPF 50 on tattooed skin. It keeps colors saturated for years.
